PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of solving the problem of the occurrence of uneven exposure regardless of the types of accessories to be fitted. SOLUTION: A camera body 300, which an interchangeable lens 200 can be attached to/detached from, includes: a CMOS sensor 307 for exposing a subject image formed by incident light to create image information; a body microcomputer 317 for electronically controlling the exposure timing of the CMOS sensor 307; a shutter 301 for mechanically controlling shielding of the incident light; a body microcomputer 317 for calculating the exposure amount of a subject using the CMOS sensor 307; a body microcomputer 317 for calculating an exposure time based on the exposure amount and controlling the operations of the CMOS sensor 307 and the shutter 301; a body microcomputer 317 for detecting the interchangeable lens 200; and a body microcomputer 317 for regulating exposure by the exposure time shorter than a predetermined exposure time according to the detection result of the body microcomputer 317.
