PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of recording accuracy caused by static electricity accumulated between a recorded material supporting member and a recorded material, without using a recorded material supporting member to which antistatic treatment is applied. SOLUTION: As to cutform paper P such as plain paper having a characteristic that static electricity is comparatively hard to be charged (No in step S74) thereon, suppression of lowering of throughput is prioritized, and first pre-recording conveying operation which can be performed in a shorter time is selected and carried out (steps S75 and S76). On the other hand, as to cutform paper P such as glossy paper having characteristic that static electricity is comparatively easily charged (Yes in step S74), an effect to decrease the static electricity accumulated between the recording paper supporting member 13 and the cutform paper P is prioritized, and second pre-recording conveying operation having the higher effect is selected and carried out (steps S77 and S78).
