PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat battery free from developing trouble, by making the inside of a device, such as a terminal stained with a constituent of electrolyte, even if the electrolyte leaks on the surface of a gasket. SOLUTION: In the flat battery wherein a power generating element is enclosed between an inner container and an outer container, and the inner container and the outer container are fitted into each other via a fitting-in member, silicon resin is coated on the surface of the inner container over to the fitting-in member.
