PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based removable type adhesive usable for an adhesive tape having excellent adhesiveness to a rough surface of corrugated board etc., and readily releasable from the surface of an adherend even after being allowed to stand at high temperatures and high humidities over a long period of time after application to the adherend. SOLUTION: The water-based removable type adhesive includes: an acrylic resin (A); and a curing agent (B). In the water-based removable type adhesive, the stress value at 200% strain in a stress-strain curve of a dried film formed from the water-based removable type adhesive, and having a cross-sectional area of 4 mm<SP>2</SP>is 0.01-0.03 N/mm<SP>2</SP>; the strain at the maximum stress is 800-1,300%; and the maximum stress value is 0.04-0.08 N/mm<SP>2</SP>.
