METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REALIZING RECEPTION OF MULTIMEDIA BROADCAST MULTIMEDIA SERVICE (MBMS) SERVICE AND MBMS RECEPTION APPARATUS

A method and system for realizing reception of multimedia broadcast multimedia service (MBMS) and MBMS reception apparatus are provided by present invention. The method includes the following steps: reminder information of an MBMS service is preset in a network side (100); before starting the MBMS service which has been preset reminder information, the network side sends the reminder information to a user reception end (101); and the user reception end receives the MBMS service with the reminder of the reminder information (102). The network side and the user reception end provide a new selection manner for receiving the MBMS service, and enrich the selection of the user. It enables user to conveniently receive the interested MBMS service, and ensures user to receive the interested MBMS service better, and then enhances the fine service experience for using the MBMS service by the user.
