<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biocompatible molded form by putting titanium and zirconium oxide to composite formation to improve and enable adjusting both of its own mechanical properties and biocompatibility as an implant. <P>SOLUTION: The biocompatible material is a composite material of titanium and zirconium oxide; wherein (1) the proportion of the zirconium oxide is 20% or less, (2) the zirconium oxide to be used is in the form of powder consisting of spherical powder each 200 μm or smaller in diameter, and (3) the sections of the zirconium oxide spherical particles are exposed onto the surface of the composite material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
