<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and electronic apparatus for sufficiently displaying three-dimensional video only by control of a barrier even when an observer moves. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes an image displaying means 3 for alternately displaying a left-eye image L and a right-eye image R, a light-shielding means 2 for causing a binocular parallax effect in an image displayed by the image display means 3, and a detecting means 100 for detecting the observer's position. The light-shielding means 2 includes an image transmission section for transmitting the image of the image display means 3, and an image non-transmission section that does not transmit the image. Based on the detection result of the detecting means 100, the position of the image transmission section is moved by 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 of a light-shielding pitch defined by the arrangement interval of the image transmission section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
