<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing selenium capable of reducing a cost of equipment and a cost of operation. <P>SOLUTION: A solution L2 containing an SO<SB>4</SB>and selenium is made to pass through an ion exchange resin 35 to remove the SO<SB>4</SB>and the selenium from the solution L2 at the same time. The timing for switching among regeneration water L5, desalted water L3, and desulfurizing water L4 discharged from the ion exchange resin is controlled on the basis of one or more measured values selected from the group consisting of an electric conductivity, a pH value, and a measured value of Cl, SO<SB>4</SB>, K, Na, and Ca. Thus the desalted water having high SO<SB>4</SB>ion and selenium concentration and the desulfurizing water having a high chloride concentration can be obtained. The solution L2 can be a filtrate L1 obtained by washing chlorine bypass dust D produced in a cement pyroprocess or a leachate 50a from a final disposal site 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
