<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck scattered toner and to continue sucking it without blocking a suction port even when such an abnormal state that a lump of toner falls occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a developing roller 52 carrying developer on its surface, disposed in a place opposite to a photoreceptor drum 1, and used to develop a latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1; stirring rollers 61, 62, and 63 for conveying the developer; and a developing case 51 holding the developer, developer carrier, and developer conveying member in it. A passage 56 is formed between the developing case 51 and photoreceptor drum 1 so as to extend along the axial direction of the photoreceptor drum 1, the passage 56 being able to cause a current A of air along the extending direction to flow through. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
