<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device and an IC card having high-level security. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card includes a communication unit, a nonvolatile memory, an encryption processing unit, a volatile memory, and a control unit. When encrypted data stored in the nonvolatile memory are decoded and transmitted to the outside through the communication unit, the control unit decodes the encrypted data stored in the nonvolatile memory by the use of a regular decoding key corresponding to a regular encryption key and stores the resulting data in the volatile memory. The control unit successively rewrites the regular decoding key of the encryption processing unit to an illicit decoding key (S9a), and then transmits the decoded data stored in the volatile memory to the outside through the communication unit (S10a-S14a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
