<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems for automatically transmitting emergency information to travelling trains while more accurately determining whether there is an obstacle to the train or not, instead of systems for giving various cautions (warnings) to customers (persons) on a platform. <P>SOLUTION: The fall prevention systems are provided for preventing the fall of a person from the platform where people gets into or out of trains, and the contact with the trains. They each include a motion directing device which uses a CCD camera for monitoring a certain range and issues a change signal when an object moves in the range to form an image different from past one with a certain change, The ranges cover three positions, namely, the entry of vehicles, the inside of rails in a platform area and the inside of textured paving blocks on the platform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
