<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex having excellent gas occlusion performance and gas separation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The metal complex is composed of a dicarboxylic acid compound expressed by general formula (I) (in the formula, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each H, alkyl, nitro or the like), at least one kind of metal ion selected from metals of group 2 and groups 7-12 of the periodic table (e.g. zinc ion) and a 4,4'-bipyridyl compound which may have a substituent and is usable as a bidentately coordinatable organic ligand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
