<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit scale in an OTN device that multiplexes and transfers a client signal such as the Ethernet (R). <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus is provided for accommodating and multiplexing asynchronous client signals with idle signals defined. The apparatus is configured such that, at the transmission side, client signals are transmitted after being synchronized, by using a specific client signal as a reference signal, and inserting or removing idle signals of the other client signals of the same classification, and at the reception side, a PLL unit at the reception side is shared, by regenerating a clock from the specific client signal, and distributing the clock for the other client signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
