PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device of measuring a torque of a ball bearing device, and a method and device of measuring a torque of a ball bearing, performing measuring of a small torque with little noise. SOLUTION: This method of measuring a torque is adapted to measure a torque of a ball bearing device 10 that has a shaft 21 formed in a circular cylinder shape, a cylindrical sleeve 23 which is arranged to be coaxial to the shaft and to be separated from an outer circumferential face of the shaft with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a ball bearing, provided between the shaft and the sleeve, of which the inner wheel is fixed to the shaft and the outer wheel is fixed to the sleeve. By using a load cell 44 having a measuring terminal 51 capable of detecting a torque, one of the shaft and the sleeve of the ball bearing device is rotated centering around an axis, the measuring terminal is pressed against the other by a predetermined force, a friction force of the measuring terminal is detected, and thereby a torque of the ball bearing device is measured.
