PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a load of a driver by performing automatic blinking or switching-off of hazard lamps, and secure a safe traveling as well as achieving an electrical power saving. SOLUTION: A vehicle lamp system includes a front monitoring means 1 for outputting a front road information of a vehicle, a rear monitoring means 2 for outputting a rear road information of the vehicle, and a lamp switch controlling means 7 for controlling the hazard lamps TSL of the vehicle to blink or switch-off based on the front and rear road information. When a traffic jam is detected a road ahead of the vehicle, the lamp switch controlling means 7 blinks the hazard lamps TSL, and when an another vehicle traveling behind the vehicle approaches and follows the vehicle, the lamp switch controlling means 7 switches off the hazard lamps TSL.
