PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify passers-by of approach of an electric car 10 with less sound. SOLUTION: An approach signal transmitter 2 is mounted on an electric car whose approach is hard to be noticed by passers-by because of low noise during moving, and transmits an approach signal including approach information indicating the approach by utilizing electricity handled as weak radio waves, for example. An approach notification device 3 is carried by a passer-by and has: a reception unit for receiving an approach signal from an electric car and acquiring approach information from the approach signal; and a notification unit for notifying the passer-by carrying the approach notification device of the approach of the electric car with a sound or the like when acquiring the approach signal.
