PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic electroluminescent compounds, which is a green electroluminescent compound, having maximized electroluminescent efficiency and lifetime of device. SOLUTION: Organic electroluminescent compounds represented by formula 1 or 2, a process for preparing the same, and an organic electric field EL element which comprises, as a luminescent region interposed between an anode and a cathode, one compound selected from among those represented by formula 1 and formula 2, and one compound selected from anthracene derivatives, benz[a]anthracene derivatives and naphthacene derivatives, wherein each of R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>of formula 1 or 2 is independently selected from anthryl, fluoranthenyl, pyrenyl, fluorenyl and perilenyl groups; and each of R<SB>3</SB>to R<SB>6</SB>is independently selected from phenyl, naphthyl, anthryl, phenanthryl, fluorenyl, fluoranthenyl, pyrenyl, perilenyl, naphthacenyl and biphenyl group, and wherein anthryl, fluoranthenyl, pyrenyl, fluorenyl or perilenyl group of R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>and phenyl, naphthyl, anthryl, phenanthryl, fluorenyl, fluoranthenyl, pyrenyl, perilenyl, naphthacenyl or biphenyl group of R<SB>3</SB>to R<SB>6</SB>may be further substituted by a 1-20C alkyl group or a 1-20C alkoxy group.
