PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool for efficiently impacting while adjusting strength of impact in impact operation in response to the size of a fastening load, by using an impact mechanism of a new mechanism. SOLUTION: This impact tool includes a hammer connected to a motor and an anvil impacted by the hammer by alternately driving the motor in normal rotation and reverse rotation. The size of a driving current to the motor is changed in response to a fastening torque value by detecting the fastening torque values (89a and 89b) by impact.
