The invention relates to a wind turbine comprising a vertical axle and having a rotor arranged inside a frame that is laterally open in such a way as to enable the inflow and outflow of air and therefore to control the power by regulation of the capture area by means of the rotation. The wind turbine comprises a vertical axle connected to at least two blades. The invention is characterised in that the wind turbine comprises a vertical frame that is arranged around the rotor and comprises openings in its lateral walls for the inflow and outflow of air, in addition to means for holding the frame, to which the frame is connected in such a way that it can rotate about a vertical axle in relation to the holding means, in order to orient the openings in relation to the wind.
