The battery (2) has a cell assembly (7) formed of cells (1) parallelly and/or serially interconnected with one another and strutted with one another by a tensioning arrangement (6). A cell inner pressure-steered electric circuit separating device (8) is arranged at the cell assembly and mechanically coupled with the cells. The tensioning arrangement is elastically formed with the separating device. An electric circuit is separable by the separating device, where the battery is integrated in the electric circuit.
