The storage (1) e.g. lithium ion battery, has a housing (2) comprising an electrolyte arranged between a positive electrode (3) and a negative electrode (4). A phase change material (8) e.g. paraffin, salt hydrate and gas hydrate, is arranged in the housing for temperature control, where a part of the material absorbs the heat delivered by the storage during charging or discharging process. The material is arranged in center of a winding (9). The active material of the negative electrode comprises graphite, where the material is microencapsulated.
