COMPLEX FLUID MACHINE

Provided is a complex fluid machine used in a Rankine cycle device provided with a circuit formed by sequentially connecting: a pump that sucks in a working fluid via a suction passage, and discharges the working fluid via a discharge passage; a heat exchanger that makes it possible to exchange heat between the working fluid discharged from the pump and fluid from an exhaust heat source; an expansion mechanism that outputs mechanical energy by expanding the working fluid after heat has been exchanged by the heat exchanger; and a condenser that condenses the working fluid discharged from the expansion mechanism. Said complex fluid machine is provided with: a rotating electrical machine that functions as a generator or a motor, and has a drive shaft; a housing that internally houses the expansion mechanism, the pump and the rotating electrical machine together; and a storage unit for storing working fluid, which is disposed along the axial direction of the drive shaft between the suction passage and pump and the expansion mechanism. The discharge passage communicates with the storage unit in such a manner that the working fluid discharged from the pump is discharged to the heat exchanger via the storage unit.
