摘要 <p>Disclosed is a three dimensional imaging device that comprises a first and second imaging optical system. A first focus lens is moved in a search operation within a normal first search range so as to search for a first lens position (P1) at which the object to be imaged is brought into focus in the first imaging optical system (S14 - S20). A second search range which is narrower than the first search range is set (S22), and a second focus lens is moved in a search operation within the second search range so as to search for a second lens position (P2) at which the object to be imaged is brought into focus in the second imaging optical system (S24, S28). When it is not possible to search for the second lens position (P2) within the second search range, the second lens position (P2) is calculated on the basis of the first lens position (P1) and a focus position shift Df stored in advance (S30, S32). Hereby, an auto focus operation is efficiently performed in both imaging units, and focus adjustment of high focus accuracy is obtained even with individual differences in both imaging units.</p>
