<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a position estimation operation and magnetic pole identification simultaneously, and to prevent an overcurrent by making it possible to control a fundamental wave current even at identifying the magnetic pole. <P>SOLUTION: A controller includes: an adder 9 which generates a direct-axis voltage command by superposing a high-frequency voltage upon a fundamental wave voltage command; a coordinate converter 2 and a filter 4 which decompose an armature current into a direct-axis current and a quadrature-axis current and extracts a high-frequency current having the same frequency as that of the high-frequency voltage; a speed estimator 7 and an integrator 8 which operate a speed estimated value and a first position estimated value of a rotor from the high-frequency current; and a switch B, a memory 5 and a magnetic pole identifying apparatus 6 which superpose a pulse voltage having a positive polarity and a negative polarity upon the high-frequency voltage and operate a second position estimated value by correcting the first position estimated value based on a rate-of-change of the direct-axis currents at superposing the pulse voltage of the positive polarity and at superposing the pulse voltage of the negative polarity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
