<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device able to prevent failure in peeling developer from a developer holder and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes a developer holder 49 that has therein a cylindrical magnetic member 48 having a plurality of magnetic poles in a circumferential direction, and conveys developer magnetically attracted to a surface thereof, and peels off the developer in a predetermined area; peeling members 81 and 83, each of which peels off the developer attracted at an end portion of the developer holding member in an axial direction; magnetic bodies 81 and 83, each of which is provided on at least one of upstream side and downstream side from the peeling member in the direction of rotation of the developer holder 49 and that is disposed in a position with a gap from the surface 49 of the developer holder and opposed to the peeling member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
