<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the fear of having pressing marks of a roller on a recording surface of roll paper or the like without spoiling convenience which is one of merits to use the roll paper or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 1 includes a roll paper feeding device 20 (conveying device) feeding the roll paper RP by rotating a feeding drive roller 23 with the roll paper RP held by the feeding drive roller 23 and a feeding driven roller 24. The pressing load of the feeding driven roller 24 on the feeding drive roller 23 can be switched to a first pressing load or a second pressing load which is lower than the first pressing load by rotating an eccentric cam to rock a feeding driven roller holder 31 pivotally supporting the feeding driven roller 24 through a bar spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
