PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having various combinations of stopped symbols in every variation display game to increase the player's excitement and enjoyment. SOLUTION: A plurality of winning combinations includes a plurality of special winning combinations for deriving a special result mode, a first winning combination unable to derive the special result mode, and a second winning combination for deriving a chance result mode not derived when winning the first winning combination. The second winning combination has different winning probabilities set for every set value so that the chance result mode is derived at different probabilities for every set value set by a probability setting unit. Further, when winning the special winning combination, a variation display game is allowed to be stopped in the special result mode or in chance result mode according to the operation timing of a stop operation unit, and when winning the second winning combination, the variation display game is allowed to be stopped in the chance result mode according to the operation of the stop operation unit.
