PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase that improves cooling efficiency and reduces running cost with keeping an easy-picking of commodities and good hygiene. SOLUTION: The open showcase 1 which cools or heats the inside of a display chamber 8 with an open front includes a display cover 30 configured to cover the opening of the chamber 8. The cover 30 is composed of a plurality of hard cover members 31. The members 31 include the commodity-pickup ports 35 from which commodities displayed in the chamber 8 are taken out.
