PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high precision of surveying result, while attaining simplification of survey works, and to shorten the hours required for the survey work. SOLUTION: The surveying support device, while configuring a measuring ring 202 at the end of a portable chassis 201 rotatable about an arbitrary line on map, includes a digital curvimeter 101 for configuring a button 205 indicating an origin/terminal button of surveying leg and an input point button 206 declaring the input of site information and a ten-key 102 being different from the digital curvimeter 101 for receiving input of site information; and while calculating the length of an arbitrary line and memorizing information on the length of calculated arbitrary line, based on rotational frequency of the measuring ring 202 during the measuring period, memorizes, when declaration operation is received with the input point button 206 during the measuring period, site information the ten-key 102 receives input by making connection with information on the length of arbitrary line, after reception of the declaration operation is made to associate.
