PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a road traffic information providing system providing road traffic information to a vehicle moving on a road. SOLUTION: The road traffic information providing system 10 has: a plurality of road side devices 20 each of which exchanges information with an in-vehicle device 31 loaded on a vehicle 30 traveling on a road by radio communication; and a server 12. On the basis of moving speed of the vehicle collected via the respective road side devices 20, the server 12 divides transmission data of road traffic information to be distributed and allocates the divided transmission data to respective road side devices 20.
