An electric power transmission control apparatus (20) of this invention comprises: a control unit (22) for outputting a drive signal, which has been modulated in accordance with data, to an electric power transmitting unit (12), thereby controlling the driving operation of the electric power transmitting unit; a data storing unit (235) for storing data, which is to be forwarded and directed from an electric power transmission apparatus (10) to an electric power reception apparatus (40), each time the data is input to the electric power transmission apparatus (10); and a comparing unit (31) for comparing the data stored in the data storing unit (235) with data input anew to the electric power transmission apparatus (10), thereby determining whether the former data is identical with the latter data. If the comparing unit (31) determines, by the comparison, that the former data is not identical with the latter data, then the control unit (22) outputs a drive signal, which has been modulated in accordance with the data input anew, to the electric power transmitting unit (12), thereby transmitting, to the electric power reception apparatus (40), the data input anew. If the comparing unit (31) determines, by the comparison, that the former data is identical with the latter data, then the control unit (22) does not transmit, to the electric power reception apparatus (40), the data input anew. An electric power reception control apparatus (50) of this invention is similarly configured.
