A remote control method, device and system for an intelligent appliance based on Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) are disclosed, and the system comprises an appliance control terminal and an appliance wireless communication gateway, wherein the appliance control terminal is configured to send a USSD appliance operation request to the appliance wireless communication gateway and receive a USSD appliance operation response returned from the appliance wireless communication gateway; the appliance wireless communication gateway is configured to determine the appliance operation indication represented by the received USSD appliance operation request and execute corresponding operation to the controlled appliance according to the appliance operation indication and return the USSD appliance operation response generated after executing corresponding operation to the appliance control terminal. The method, device and system of the present invention improve the convenience of a user's control operation to an intelligent appliance and the efficiency of remote control to an intelligent appliance.
