<p>Disclosed are compositions comprising a compound having the formula CF3(CF2)xCF═CFCF(OR)(CF2)yCF3, wherein R is CH3 or C2H5 or mixtures thereof, and wherein x and y are independently 0, 1, 2 or 3, and wherein x+y=1, 2 or 3. Also disclosed are unsaturated fluoroethers selected from the group consisting of CF3(CF2)xCF═CFCF(OR)(CF2)yCF3, CF3(CF2)xC(OR)═CFCF2(CF2)yCF3, CF3CF═CFCF(OR)(CF2)x(CF2)yCF3, CF3(CF2)xCF═C(OR)CF2(CF2)yCF3, and mixtures thereof, wherein R can be either CH3, C2H5 or mixtures thereof, and wherein x and y are independently 0, 1, 2 or 3, and wherein x+y=0, 1, 2 or 3. Also disclosed herein are novel methods of using a composition comprising at least one of the compounds described above as novel solvents, carrier fluids, dewatering agents, degreasing solvents or defluxing solvents.</p> |
