PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Soxhlet extractor improving work efficiency and easy to use. SOLUTION: The Soxhlet extractor is constituted so that a receiver 2, an extractor 3 and a cooler 4 are disposed from a lower part to an upper part in this order, and vapor of a solvent generated in the receiver is led to the extractor via a vapor tube 6, condensed in the cooler and dropped in the extractor, and extraction object contained in a sample in the extractor is dissolved into the solvent, and the solvent containing the extraction object is returned to the receiver via a siphon tube 7. The extractor has a bottomed shape including a side wall part 31 and a bottom wall part 32 formed at the lower end of the side wall part, wherein the lower end of the side wall part or the bottom wall is provided with a discharge tube 5 communicating a space in the extractor with the exterior space and discharging the solvent in the extractor.
