FLUORESCENT HYDROGEL FIBER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND SACCHARIDE-MEASURING SENSOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent hydrogel fiber excellent in detectability of saccharides such as glucose and having low invasiveness, and to provide a method for producing the same and a saccharide-measuring sensor using the same. SOLUTION: The fluorescent hydrogel fiber contains a compound obtained by allowing 9,10-bis[[N-(6'-aminohexyl)-N-(2-boronobenzyl)amino]methyl]-2-acetylanthracene to react with acryloyl-(polyethylene glycol)-N-succinimide ester.
