PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an aerogel sheet, capable of readily and securely impregnating a fiber with a sol solution. SOLUTION: The apparatus A for manufacturing the aerogel sheet is intended for impregnating the fiber F with the sol solution S and comprises: a storage container 1 wherein the sol solution S is stored; a first feeding part 2 that feeds the sol solution S stored in the storage container 1 to the fiber F from above; a transfer rail 3 equipped with a forwarding part 31 for transferring the fiber F; and a second feeding part 8 that is disposed downstream of the first feeding part 2 on the transfer rail 3 and ejects a thermally hydrolyzable compound Y stored inside a tank 81 onto the fiber. Between the first feeding part 2 and the second feeding part 8 on the transfer rail 3, a reservoir part 4 is formed, which stores the sol solution S with a depth enabling immersion of the fiber F in the sol solution S.
