PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side door structure of a vehicle capable of moving an armrest separate body part by the moving direction and a moving distance required for avoiding contact between an occupant and an armrest, when a side collision load is input to a side door from an external part, on a side collision. SOLUTION: The side door structure has the armrest 30 formed into a swelling shape to the cabin inside from a door trim 7. This armrest 30 includes an armrest body part 31 formed so as to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction in an intermediate stage part in the vertical direction of the door trim 7 and integrally formed with the door trim 7 and the armrest separate body part 32 formed as a separate body to the armrest body part 31 so as to continue with the rear end of this armrest body part 31, and is constituted so that when the side collision load is input from the external part to a front side door 4, the armrest separate body part 32 separates from the door trim 7 and can move to the vehicle front or the rear to the armrest body part 31.
