PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fire extinguishing equipment which does not require a water tank for preparing fire extinguishing water containing air bubbles, and can enhance fire extinguishing performance by maintaining the air bubbles after jetting the water from a head for a sufficient period of time. SOLUTION: This fire extinguishing equipment mixes an inert gas such as N<SB>2</SB>or CO<SB>2</SB>, or an active gas such as O<SB>2</SB>with the fire extinguishing water pressurized and fed by a fire extinguishing pump 10 in case of fire in a mixer 36, and makes the fire extinguishing water jetted from the closed-type head 30 connected with a branch pipe 26. A bubble generating device 40 is provided between the mixer 36 and the closed-type head 30. The bubbles having an air-bubble diameter of 10μm or lower are generated, and the fire-extinguishing-water containing the bubbles is jetted from the closed-type head 30. The bubble generating device 40 is provided for each down piping of the head, integrally with the head, in the middle of the branch pipe on this side of the head on a water-feeding main pipe 18 on the secondary side of the mixer 36, or the like.
