PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation method for a ventilation control valve, which compatibly attains a vapor exhausting function and a supercharging oil preventing function during fill-up fuel. SOLUTION: The ventilation control valve 1 is provided in a fuel tank. It includes a housing 2 having a vent hole 10 formed below an orifice hole 9 to communicate the inside of the housing 2 with the outside. Regarding the orifice hole 9 and the vent hole 10, during closing the valve in a canister communication port 4, the vent hole 10 is blocked by fuel moving up in the housing 2 to set only the orifice hole 9 into a ventilated condition, and during opening the valve in the canister communication port 4 while a lower end opening portion 6 of the housing 2 is blocked by the liquid surface of the fuel after additional fuel supply is finished, the liquid surface of the fuel in the housing 2 is located below the vent hole 10 to set both the orifice hole 9 and the vent hole 10 into ventilated conditions.
