<p>Disclosed is an organic EL display device provided with: a display unit (13) in which a plurality of pixel units (136) emitting visible light are arranged in the form of a matrix having N by M number of pixel units; a data line driving circuit (132) for supplying video signals of a first frame and a second frame, which respectively display images for one of the eyes and which configure a three-dimensional video, to each of the plurality of pixel units (136); and a scanning line driving circuit (131) for supplying a scanning signal to each of the pixel units (136), and for controlling the supply of the aforementioned video signals to the pixel units (136). The display unit (13) is disposed with emitter units (138), which can emit infrared light in the same direction as the direction in which the pixel units (136) emit visible light, on a part of the position in which the pixel units (136) are arranged. The scanning line driving circuit (131) supplies, to the emitter units (138), control signals indicating the timing for switching between the first frame and the second frame, and the emitter units (138) emit light in accordance with the control signals.</p> |
