<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that while a user views 3D video, when the video is switched to 2D video by switching of a channel or the like, a great difference in video image brightness is caused depending on the difference of display method and depending on whether glasses are put on or not, further, when the user does not put on glasses and 3D display is performed, the video is seen as a double image in which left and right videos overlap. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes an input part to which video information is input, and a display part displaying video information input to the input part, and it is configured so that when the video to be displayed is switched to the 2D video from the 3D video, brightness of the video to be displayed is modified while taking a prescribed period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
