PLUG FOR VEHICULAR CHARGE CABLE AND SOCKET FOR CONNECTING VEHICULAR CHARGE CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a vehicular charge cable capable of simultaneously intercepting current conduction in connection with pulling-off of the plug and absorbing an allowable error of a distance between an amount of linear motions caused by insertion and pulling-off of the plug and a contact closing mechanism at a certain degree, and a socket for a vehicular charge cable.

SOLUTION: The plug for the vehicular charge cable includes a trip bar 15 always projected from a socket connection surface 12 by urging outward its pointed head section with an elastic means 25 and pushed inwardly inside a plug body at the time of inserting the plug, a rotary body 30 rotated by pushing with a rear end 26 of the trip bar 15 at the time of inserting the plug, and a link mechanism for closing a contact by operating together with rotation of the rotary body 30. A contact section 38 for passing through the rear end 26 of the trip bar 15 further pushed after closing the contact is arranged on the rotary body 30, and an allowable error of the amount of linear motions of the trip bar 15 can be absorbed at a certain degree.
