PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture vessel reducing intrusion of sundry germs and impurities and/or the like into a well in such a situation as to be installed with necessary electrodes such as a paired electrode and reference electrode. SOLUTION: The culture vessel includes: such a vessel body 2 in which an inner space A open atop thereof is formed and a well 4 is housed in such a way that a cylinder 32 is erected on the top surface of a plate 33 with an action electrode 31 formed atop thereof; a lid 3 fitted detachably on the top of the vessel body 2 and closing the vessel body 2; a columnar electrode 5 penetrating the lid 3, fitted onto the lid 3 in such a state that the top end is exposed onto the top surface of the lid 3, situated in the vessel body 2 in such a state that the lid 3 is fitted onto the vessel body 2, and situated outside the well 4, with the bottom end being in contact with the action electrode 31; and a reference electrode 6 and a paired electrode 7 penetrating the lid 3, each fitted onto the lid 3 in such a state that the respective top ends are exposed onto the top of the lid 3, with the respective bottom ends being intruded into the well 4 in such a state that the lid 3 is fitted onto the vessel body 2.
