PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the injection device of a molding machine with simple constitution, e.g., a die casting machine and an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The injection device 1 of a die casting machine DC1 includes: an injection cylinder device 7 driving an injection plunger 5; a conversion cylinder device 9 in which a conversion piston rod 25 is fixed to the machine body 111, and a conversion cylinder tube 21 communicates with the injection cylinder tube 15 of the injection cylinder device 7; and a driving apparatus 11 capable of driving the conversion cylinder tube 21 in the extension/contraction direction of the conversion cylinder device 9 to the machine body 111.
