PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle adequately adjusting temperature in a cabin and suitably securing an antifogging property of a window glass. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 15 for the vehicle includes a function for suppressing generation of fogging of a window glass 36 by blowing air-conditioned air through an air-conditioning unit 16 into the cabin 11 from a defrost blow-out duct 30. The air conditioner for the vehicle includes a defrost discharge air temperature sensor 17 for detecting discharge air temperature T<SB>DEF</SB>of air blown out from the defrost blow-out duct and a control part 18 for controlling the discharge air temperature T<SB>DEF</SB>of the air blown out from the defrost blow-out duct based on detection information detected with the defrost discharge air temperature sensor.
