PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable imaging conditions each having the same content to be set without performing a special operation if attachable and detachable recording media for recording photographed images are the same. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 previously stores the imaging condition which is set at present when a recording medium 3 is attached to a device body at the time of power off together with medium identification information read from the recording medium 3 into a last memory LM as an imaging condition at the final imaging time, compares the medium identification information read from the recording medium 3 at the time of power on with medium identification information stored in the last memory LM, and then sets the imaging condition stored in the last memory LM as the present imaging condition by reading after correlating to the medium identification information if both are determined to be corresponded, as a result of the comparison.
