PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chum basket hardly requiring job when putting chum therein, and not releasing the chum and attached baits at once after reaching a fishing point. SOLUTION: The lower part of a chum basket body is made to be a diagonal form and a chum inlet and outlet is formed to be diagonal. As the inlet and outlet is formed to be a spoon shape, opossum shrimp chum can be spooned. Surplus water is purged through a network. When putting the chum and the attached baits into the chum basket body and casting the terminal tackle, after landing on the water, the cum basket directly dives to the seabed. Then, when reaching a defined point, chum gradually flows out to gather fishes, and when favorite important figure fishes coming together, the attached baits are released outside from the basket inside for the first time. Whether the attached bait is put at the middle of the body inside or put into the depth can be regulated based on the situation of the time. Further, when attaching light weight of No. 0.5 as the weight of the body lower part, all layer probe fishing and drift fishing using no weight and prevalent nowadays can be performed.
