<p>Volumetric prefabricated building modules are useful for building construction but shipping and logistics always pose a major problem for transporting such modules. This invention provides a volumetric prefabricated building module configured as a shipping container for shipping transportation of a plurality of contracted volumetric prefabricated building modules and comprising crane engagement means for lifting by a crane, wherein the volumetric prefabricated building module is configured for storing the plurality of volumetric prefabricated building modules in a contracted state for shipping transportation. Such a module alleviates known shortcomings of conventional volumetric prefabricated building module and provides an useful practical and economic alternative.</p> |
