The arrangement has an optic element (28) e.g. prism and Fresnel lens, arranged in a pillar-side edge area (26) of a windscreen pane (14). Light beams (30, 32) are originated in a surrounding area (19) of a motor vehicle (12). The light beams are screened by an optical opaque component of the motor vehicle with respect to a viewing point of a rider (10) of the motor vehicle and redirected to the viewing point of the rider. The surrounding area is covered by an A-pillar (20) of the motor vehicle and indicated by dashed lines (24) implied from the viewing point of the rider.
