The gasket (1) has a collet (2) for pressing on a shaft (3) and a rotary shaft seal (4) that includes a seal lip (5). The seal lip lies at a mating surface (7) of an inner wall (6) of the collet under elastic tension. The mating surface of the inner wall includes a profiled surface area. Counter-bores or projections are formed in the profiled surface area or the seal lip includes counter-bores or projections. Quantity of grease is collected between the seal lip and another seal lip (12). The counter-bores or projections cover more than 25 percents on the profiled surface area.
